OMVI/DUI and Other Traffic Defense

Moving Violations / "Tickets"

Traffic offense convictions can affect you beyond the fine associated with a simple speeding or red light ticket.  In Ohio many moving violations can affect your insurance premiums and can carry 2 or more points.  Points can disqualify individuals for employment which involves driving and affect eligibility for a CDL.  For minor misdemeanor traffic and 4th degree misdemeanor traffic offenses, we offer a flat rate of $300 for representation on a matter, with a reasonable travel addition for counties other than Franklin County.  Often we are able to secure a favorable resolution without the need for our clients to appear in court. Before simply mailing in a payment on a traffic citation, please call us first and see if we can assist you in obtaining a more favorable disposition.

DUI / OMVI / OVI Defense ("Drunk Driving")

One of the most serious offenses many will face in life is being charged with driving while impaired by alcohol.  In Ohio, Operation of a Motor Vehicle while Impaired (OMVI), or "drunk driving" is a First degree misdemeanor and can be escalated to a felony offense with prior offenses.  Conviction of this offense can result in 6 points against your license, suspension of your license, substantial fines and jail time.  In Ohio, a Defendant can be charged for driving under the influence of alcohol, or drugs of abuse.  Please call us immediately if you have been charged with this offense. We offer flat rate pricing for OMVI defense and can work to find a payment schedule which works for you.

MATTERS INVOLVED IN AN OMVI CHARGE:

  • Vehicle immobilization, impound and relocation
  • Administrative License Suspensions, Stays, Driving Privileges
  • Restricted "Party" Plates, Ignition Interlock requirements
  • Mandatory Minimum sentences, Driver Intervention Programs
